Dr. Christine Rongey, Medical Director

Dr. Christine Rongey is a board-certified physician with over 15 years of experience in medical and aesthetic care. A graduate of the USC School of Medicine with residency training at the University of Pennsylvania in Dermatopathology, she has served patients across California. 

Her personal health journey sparked her passion for advanced aesthetic treatments that blend medical science with natural, confidence-boosting results.

At Glowing U Wellness, Dr. Rongey combines her extensive medical background with a passion for helping clients achieve their aesthetic goals. She is committed to providing personalized care, ensuring that each treatment plan is tailored to the unique needs of every individual.

In 2022, that dream found its home in the heart of Torrance. Inspired by this wonderful community, Glowing U Wellness opened its doors as a comprehensive 6,000-square-foot med-aesthetic center.

Kenny’s passion lies in crafting highly detailed, personalized treatment plans. He believes that true excellence is in the details, and he invests significant time in understanding your unique needs and goals. True to our core philosophy, Kenny is a practitioner who believes in "under-promising and over-delivering," ensuring your experience consistently exceeds expectations.

A valued partner to Gigi, Kenny shares the foundational belief that we are honored to be a part of your beauty journey. Kenny holds a Master of Medical Sciences and is a distinguished member of the Pi Alpha Honor Society. With a clinical background that spans internal medicine, family medicine, and dermatology, he brings a comprehensive understanding of health to his aesthetic practice. He is an active member of the American Association of Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery and pursues advanced continued education in dermatology under experts like Dr. Scott Boswell.

Rebekah Nhim, BSN, RN

Rebekah Nhim is a dedicated and highly skilled Registered Nurse who brings a unique, holistic perspective to aesthetic care at Glowing U Wellness. With a foundational background in human behavior from her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and advanced clinical training from her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Rebekah possesses a deep understanding of the connection between inner well-being and outer confidence.

She is a key practitioner in our advanced technology offerings, having received specialized, hands-on training directly from Cartessa Aesthetics on the groundbreaking Tetra CO2 Laser (CoolPeel) and the award-winning EVERESSE technology. This expert-level certification ensures you receive the most precise and effective treatments available. Rebekah is also highly proficient in Laser Hair Removal and IV Hydration Therapy, creating comprehensive wellness plans for her clients.

Completing her training with a "Foundations for Aesthetic Injectors" certification from Aesthetic Immersion, Rebekah is building a robust skill set to meet all your aesthetic goals. She embodies the Glowing U philosophy of education and partnership, taking the time to listen to your concerns and explain every step of your journey.
