Dr. Christine Rongey, Medical Director
Dr. Christine Rongey is a board-certified physician with over 15 years of experience in medical and aesthetic care. A graduate of the USC School of Medicine with residency training at the University of Pennsylvania in Dermatopathology, she has served patients across California.
Her personal health journey sparked her passion for advanced aesthetic treatments that blend medical science with natural, confidence-boosting results.
At Glowing U Wellness, Dr. Rongey combines her extensive medical background with a passion for helping clients achieve their aesthetic goals. She is committed to providing personalized care, ensuring that each treatment plan is tailored to the unique needs of every individual.

For over 21 years, my dream has been to create a sanctuary where beauty and wellness exist in perfect harmony—a place where you never have to choose between a medical treatment, a luxurious facial, or a hair appointment. A place where your complete well-being is nurtured, all under one roof.
In 2022, that dream found its home in the heart of Torrance. Inspired by this wonderful community, Glowing U Wellness opened its doors as a comprehensive 6,000-square-foot med-aesthetic center.

Kenny Nguyen, PA-C | Physician Assistant
At Glowing U Wellness, we believe your health is the foundation of your beauty, and no one embodies this principle more than Kenny Nguyen, PA-C. Kenny is a dedicated and highly accomplished Physician Assistant whose meticulous, patient-first approach ensures you feel seen, heard, and cared for at every step.
Kenny’s passion lies in crafting highly detailed, personalized treatment plans. He believes that true excellence is in the details, and he invests significant time in understanding your unique needs and goals. True to our core philosophy, Kenny is a practitioner who believes in "under-promising and over-delivering," ensuring your experience consistently exceeds expectations.
A valued partner to Gigi, Kenny shares the foundational belief that we are honored to be a part of your beauty journey. He is dedicated to education and empowerment, never pushing a treatment but instead ensuring you feel completely informed and confident in your choices. His goal is to build a long-term plan for your wellness and radiance, fostering a trusted partnership rather than a transactional relationship.
Kenny holds a Master of Medical Sciences and is a distinguished member of the Pi Alpha Honor Society. With a clinical background that spans internal medicine, family medicine, and dermatology, he brings a comprehensive understanding of health to his aesthetic practice. He is an active member of the American Association of Aesthetic Medicine and Surgery and pursues advanced continued education in dermatology under experts like Dr. Scott Boswell.

Jasmine Ben, BSN, RN
Jasmine Ben is a dedicated Registered Nurse with a diverse background in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry Nursing, Concierge Nursing, Clinical Education, and Aesthetics. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mount Saint Mary’s University in Brentwood, Los Angeles, graduating Summa Cum Laude as a Presidential Scholarship recipient.
Jasmine began her nursing career at UCLA Ronald Reagan, gaining experience in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry Nursing and earning her Medical-Surgical Nursing Certification. Her experience also includes Concierge Nursing, serving as a Clinical Instructor for nursing students, and working in a COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic, experiences that have strengthened her commitment to providing knowledgeable, compassionate, and individualized care.
With a genuine passion for Aesthetics, Jasmine believes treatments should enhance what already makes each person unique. Her approach is centered around natural, refined results that leave her clients feeling confident and like an elevated version of themselves.
Jasmine truly loves getting to know her clients and helping them feel confident, comfortable, and beautiful in their own skin.
Krystal Arenas, MSN, RN
Krystal Arenas is a dedicated Registered Nurse with a diverse clinical background in Emergency Nursing, Trauma Care, Telemetry, Step-Down Nursing, and Float Pool Nursing. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from UCLA and her Master of Science in Nursing from Columbia University.
Krystal began her nursing career working in the Emergency Room at a Level II Trauma Center, where she developed strong clinical skills while caring for patients with a wide range of acute and complex medical needs. Her experience also includes working in telemetry, step-down units, and the float pool, allowing her to build a well-rounded clinical foundation and adapt confidently to different patient care settings.
With a growing passion for aesthetics, Krystal has experience with laser facials, thermal fractional treatments, laser hair removal, IV infusions, and microneedling. She brings her clinical knowledge and attention to detail into every aesthetic treatment, with a focus on safety, comfort, and personalized care.
Krystal believes aesthetic treatments should enhance each person’s natural beauty while helping them feel confident in their own skin. She takes the time to understand each client’s goals and strives to create a comfortable, welcoming experience with results that feel natural, refined, and uniquely theirs.
Jaimie Ramirez, RN, BSN
Jaimie is a dedicated and highly compassionate registered nurse whose whole-person care approach guides her to integrate physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being for all her patients. She understands the significance of collaborative care and aims to build a partnership with you along your journey to your most authentic self. Jaimie prides herself on providing safe, inclusive care by prioritizing her attention to details.
Jaimie earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and Bachelor of Arts in Spanish with a minor in Linguistics from Sonoma State University. She cemented her nursing career simultaneously in aesthetics and at Cedars Sinai Medical Center on a Surgical/Transplant Progressive Care Unit. Her experience also spans working as a clinical educator for a biotech company and receiving her 200hr Registered Yoga Teacher certification which cultivated her passion for education, research, and individualized holistic care.
With her foundational background in healthcare, Jaimie’s approach ensures every treatment only furthers you to feel more empowered in your own unique skin. Jaimie is highly-skilled with pico laser facials, advanced CO2 laser treatments (Tetra Pro/Coolpeel), laser hair removal, IV hydration therapy, and radiofrequency microneedling. She possesses a deep understanding of the connection between inner health and outer beauty and is committed to creating comprehensive wellness plans for your most optimal self.
